I once made a melon soup with what I though was a splash tequila. It was a bit more than a mere splash, though. And the soup turned inedible. My hubby still refers to that soup as the worst thing I’ve ever cooked with a smile on his face. And he’s absolutely right. Without tequila, however, the soup is quite enjoyable.
Blend 2 honeydew melons, half a white onion, 5 handfuls of fresh spinach, 2 branches Moroccan mint, fleur de sel, black pepper and Tabasco. Enjoy cooled, with or without tequila.
